Influencer Maya Braga, 20, used social media to clarify doubts about a rare congenital condition she has: uterus didelphys. The change causes the woman to be born with two separate uteruses and, in some cases, also to have two cervixes and a division in the vaginal canal.

Also known as Maya Urach and girlfriend of Arthur Urach, Andressa Urach's eldest son, the young woman said she decided to return to the subject after receiving a series of curious comments, as well as offensive messages, since revealing the diagnosis.

"I understand that it arouses curiosity, because it is a little-known condition, but there are other women who were born with this anatomy," he said.

Arthur also spoke out on social media and said that he started receiving questions and even jokes related to his girlfriend's condition. According to him, Maya's anatomy never had any negative impact on the couple's relationship.

When explaining the diagnosis, the influencer said that uterus didelphys is a rare congenital malformation, characterized by the formation of two completely independent uteruses, each with its own cervix. In some cases, like hers, there are also two vaginal entrances.

Maya took the opportunity to answer her followers' most frequently asked questions. She stated that she can get pregnant normally, although the condition requires medical monitoring, and revealed a curiosity about her own case.

"I discovered that in one of the vaginas I am still a virgin," he said.

The young woman also explained that she has sex through only one of the vaginal canals and that menstruation occurs through both, which can result in a more intense menstrual flow.

According to Maya, the objective of sharing the experience goes beyond curiosity. She hopes that the report will help other women who may have the same condition without knowing it, as the diagnosis is not always made early.
