Witnesses said that another vehicle at high speed crashed into the back of the car in which the family was traveling.
The driver of the other car was taken under police escort to Osasco hospital.
He had minor injuries and did not want to take a breathalyzer test. It took firefighters around two hours to put out the car fire and remove the victims.
