The presentation of Vozinha to Colo-Colo was postponed again. Expected in Santiago last Thursday, the Cape Verdean goalkeeper did not arrive in the Chilean capital and has already changed his arrival schedule at his new club for the third time.

The player should have initially traveled on Tuesday. Arrival was moved to Wednesday and then rescheduled once again. The sequence of changes increased doubts in Chile about the progress of hiring.

Jaime Pizarro, CEO of Colo-Colo, attributed the delay to private issues and the need to complete documents for the trip. According to the director, the club authorized the extension of the deadline requested by the athlete.

"An extension was requested to resolve some personal issues. Obviously, it was granted so that he could meet his needs," Pizarro told La Tercera newspaper.

The leader explained that Vozinha passed through Cape Verde and then went to Lisbon, where he dealt with other pending documents.

“Now, there are just a few hours left and we will certainly have news,” he said.

Colo-Colo has not yet set a deadline for the goalkeeper's presentation. Pizarro, however, acknowledged that the impasse needs to be resolved soon.

"Obviously, we need a deadline. It's perfectly reasonable. We'll see in the next few hours how this can be resolved," he said.

The absence of public demonstrations by Vozinha about the new club also raised questions. Since the signing was announced last Friday, the player has not published references to Colo-Colo on social media.

During his vacation in Cape Verde, the goalkeeper shared images autographing balls and shirts for fans, but again did not mention the Chilean team.

“The biggest trophy is inspiring the next generation”, he wrote in the caption of one of the publications.
