Salah arrives in Türkiye and wears Trabzonspor shirt before exams

Trabzonspor have officially confirmed that they have started talks to sign the 34-year-old. If he passes the tests and agrees on the final details of the contract, Salah will arrive without transfer costs, as he ended his contract with Liverpool at the end of the 2025/26 season.

The presence of the attacker in wine and blue increased expectations for the agreement to be confirmed. The club also released a video message in which Salah expressed enthusiasm about the possibility of starting a new stage in his career.

Despite the reception and the images in the uniform, Trabzonspor has not yet officially announced the signing of the contract. The financial details and duration of the contract were also not disclosed by the club.

Salah ends historic spell at Liverpool

Hired by Liverpool in 2017, after leaving Roma, Salah spent nine seasons in English football. The Egyptian won titles such as the Champions League and the English Championship, in addition to establishing himself among the main players in the club's recent history.

Liverpool announced, in March, that the striker would leave the team at the end of the season, ending a career marked by goals, records and achievements.

Trabzonspor awaits exams to confirm hiring

Salah is expected to head to Trabzon after his initial commitments in Istanbul. The signing will only be made official after the completion of the medical examinations and procedures necessary for the player's registration.

Trabzonspor finished the last Turkish Championship in third place and will compete in the Europa League playoffs this season.
