In conversation with UOL, Rose Scalco, Marcos' friend and lawyer, reported that the medical team changed the antibiotic used in the treatment. As a result, the actor must remain hospitalized.
"There was a change of antibiotic and, given the change, there are still about three more days to go until the end of the antibiotic and, therefore, no expected discharge," said Marcos Oliveira.
According to Rose, Marcos has already left the zero diet and has been allowed to consume liquid and pasty foods. However, he still has little appetite. "The liquid and pasty diet was approved, but he doesn't want to eat. He only accepts juice and gelatin", he said.
Despite remaining hospitalized, the actor's health condition is considered stable. According to the lawyer, Marcos has no fever and has blood pressure and blood sugar levels within normal limits.
Known for playing Beiçola in A Grande Família, the actor underwent surgery after being diagnosed with an infection in the perineum region. The procedure was carried out last week.
