Limitations that must be considered

The rounded shape makes it difficult to use inside a wallet. Unlike cardboard-looking trackers, the AirTag can be bulky and not fit well in narrower compartments.

The accessory necessary to attach it to keys, bags or backpacks is not included with the product and must be purchased separately.

The device also does not have a rechargeable battery. When the charge runs out, you need to purchase a new battery.

In the latest generation, the direct detection range can reach approximately 60 meters, but walls, furniture and other obstacles can reduce this distance.

Although Android phones can identify a found AirTag and access data provided by the owner, the tracker cannot be configured or fully used outside of the Apple ecosystem.

The AirTag tends to be more advantageous for those who already use an iPhone and want to frequently keep track of personal objects. For Android users or anyone looking for a tracker that's slim, rechargeable, and ready to attach to objects without extra accessories, other options may be better suited.
