(FOLHAPRESS) - British actress Millie Bobby Brown participated in Jay Shetty's podcast 'On Purpose', this Monday (11) and opened up about her life. During the chat, the young woman said that she suffers from panic and anxiety and her crises tend to last a long time. According to the star, one of the panic attacks he had lasted for three months.

The trigger for the attack was an occasion when Millie and her bodyguard were chased for more than 20 minutes by a stranger on the streets. The young woman rose to fame at the age of 11, when she played Eleven in "Stranger Things" (Netflix) and, since then, has dealt with scrutiny from the media and fans.

The young woman said she managed to cure her anxiety attack on a visit to Japan, when she went to a temple with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, and meditated alongside monks.

"There was an amazing man there who was very calm and I felt like he was seeing into my soul. I was at the peak of my anxiety and it's like he knew I was 'broken'. He called me and said we needed to meditate. It was incredible, I will never forget the feeling," she declared.
