Former Globo actor regrets play with 4 people in theater for 300

Scarpin performs on Sundays at 7pm. In the solo play, he plays seven different characters, including a slick politician, a futile gambler and a child addicted to screens.

With a career on television that includes work on Torre de Babel (Globo, 1998), Uma Rosa com Amor (SBT, 2010) and a role as architect Jean Miguel on Avenida Brasil (Globo, 2012), the actor stated that situations like this raise questions about his profession.

Tickets for the play cost R$100 for the full ticket and R$50 for half-price. In August, however, the actor decided to reduce the price to R$21.90, a single price through the Sampa Ingressos platform. Scarpin explained that the month also marks his birthday and stated that he would like to receive the public's presence as a gift.

The artist also highlighted the financial difficulties faced by those who produce their own shows. According to him, with only four people in the audience, the amount raised is not even enough to pay the technician, meaning he needs to take money out of his own pocket to continue working.

Even in the face of difficulties, Scarpin stated that he does not think about giving up. He turns 55 on August 24 and said he learned the importance of resilience from his father. For the actor, anyone who believes in their work needs to insist and continue trying to fill the theater.
