Who can receive Bolsa Família?
The main rule to be eligible for the program is to have a monthly family income of up to R$218 per person. To arrive at the value, you must add up all the family's income and divide the result by the number of members.
In addition to the income criterion, there are some conditions that need to be met. These include keeping children and adolescents enrolled in school, carrying out prenatal care during pregnancy and keeping vaccination records up to date.
The benefit has a minimum value of R$600 per family and may include additional payments. It's R$150 for each child up to 6 years old, R$50 for pregnant women and young people aged 7 to 17 and another R$50 for babies up to six months old.
How to move the benefit?
To participate in the program, you must be registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico). Registration, however, does not guarantee immediate entry into Bolsa Família, as it serves as a requirement for the government to carry out the assessment.
Once included in the program, the beneficiary can transfer amounts via the Caixa Tem app and internet banking. The program card also allows you to make purchases in stores using the debit function.
Those who choose to withdraw cash can withdraw the amounts at self-service terminals, lottery outlets and Caixa branches.
