Flávio Bolsonaro says he is the target of 'psychological warfare' with speculation about scandals

In an interview with the Market Makers podcast, the candidate ruled out leaving the presidential race and rejected the possibility of making room for another right-wing candidate. "They are punishing us for what could happen in the future, something that no one knows. I can guarantee that there is nothing wrong on my part," he said.

At his side, economist Daniella Marques, who was tipped to be his vice-presidential candidate, reiterated that, in a democratic rule of law, the burden of proof lies with the accuser and criticized what she classified as a succession of conclusions against the senator.

Asked about his relationship with Vorcaro, controller of Banco Master, the senator stated that the contact occurred exclusively due to the search for private investors to finance a film about Bolsonaro.

He also said that he supported requests to investigate the bank precisely because he believed there would be no irregularities. Flávio also again made accusations, without presenting evidence, that members of the Lula government had acted to favor the Master in negotiations involving the Central Bank.

In this context, the candidate mentioned that Lula defended holding off the sale of Master until the change of presidency of the Central Bank.

Daniella stated that Vorcaro maintained relationships with several agents in the financial market and the Judiciary and said that there was no proximity between the businessman and Flávio Bolsonaro. According to her, Master's controller "did business with everyone at Faria Lima".

In May, the website The Intercept Brasil revealed that Flávio asked Vorcaro for money, in 2025, to finance the film "Dark Horse", about Bolsonaro's life. At least R$61 million was actually paid. The case became an investigation conducted by the Federal Police.

In the interview, the candidate cited allegations that criminal organizations such as Comando Vermelho and Primeiro Comando da Capital were using brokers linked to Faria Lima companies to launder money, and criticized the lack of compliance. "What world is it where people don't want to make an effort to improve their control mechanisms?"

At another time, the presidential candidate also attacked the federal government again by stating, without presenting evidence, that people linked to the PCC and the INSS fraud scheme would have influence over the Palácio do Planalto.
