The company also highlighted that production in the United States reached a record level, while global production grew 20% compared to the same period in 2025. In American refineries, there was a record level of crude oil processing, with a unit utilization rate of 97%.
“In the face of geopolitical uncertainty and market volatility, Chevron teams remain focused on safely delivering the reliable energy the world needs,” said CEO Mike Wirth. “Our strong performance in the second quarter is the result of disciplined investments and solid execution, which drove record U.S. upstream production, record crude oil processing at our U.S. refineries, and exceptional reliability at key assets,” he added.
