In the publication, Tabata compared the number of projects transformed into law among the five federal deputies with the most votes in the last election for the Chamber. The list cited by the parliamentarian includes Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG), Boulos, Carla Zambelli (PL-SP), Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) and Ricardo Salles (Novo-SP).
In the video, Tabata states that deputies among the most voted in 2022 had limited legislative production when considering projects that became law. In the comparison made by the deputy, Boulos appears at a similar level to the other names mentioned, such as Nikolas Ferreira, Carla Zambelli, Eduardo Bolsonaro and Ricardo Salles.
"This isn't normal here, people. It can't be. There are millions of Brazilians who gave their vote of confidence and who are receiving crumbs in return," said the parliamentarian.
She stated that, using the same criteria, there are 32 projects approved and transformed into law. In the video, he also advocated that voters follow parliamentary performance before choosing candidates for the Chamber.
Boulos responded on his profile on X, formerly Twitter. The minister said he considered the comparison made by someone "from the progressive camp" "regrettable" and defended his performance as a federal deputy.
He cited the Solidarity Kitchens Law as one of the projects under his mandate and said he was proud of the proposals he approved. Boulos also criticized votes and initiatives associated with Tabata.
"I would be ashamed if I had voted in favor of Bolsonaro's Pension Reform or if I were the author of a law that criminalizes criticism of Israel's genocide in the Gaza Strip," said the Lula government minister.
Boulos has been on leave as a federal deputy since October 2025, when he assumed the General Secretariat of the Presidency. Tabata is serving his second term in the Chamber.
The two were opponents in the dispute for São Paulo City Hall two years ago. Tabata came in fourth place and declared his vote, in the second round, for Boulos, but did not participate in the psolist's campaign events. The chosen one was Ricardo Nunes (MDB), who was seeking re-election.
