The episode occurred around 4:52 pm on Sunday. In the images, the animal walks through the backyard, approaches the pool and enters directly into the spa.
"Bear alert. He's in our spa," the resident wrote on social media, according to broadcaster KTLA5.
The bear remained in the hot tub for approximately five minutes before leaving the area.
According to the local press, this was the third sighting of a black bear recorded in that region in recent weeks.
On July 17, another animal was filmed climbing the wall of a Glendale home. About a month earlier, a bear had also been seen roaming the parking lot of a commercial establishment.
In recent months, similar reports have occurred in Altadena, Encino, Sunland and nearby Hansen.
Residents say the presence of these animals has become more frequent since the Eaton fires, which affected the region.
