In the video, it is possible to see Ivan trying to find the pulse of the woman lying on the street. "That woman really needed it, because she was already in a more advanced and critical state. I decided to stop and provide first aid, before Samu arrived," the boy told TV Globo.
According to the Federal District Fire Department website, the Junior Firefighter Program is aimed at children and adolescents aged 7 to 14, who are enrolled in the education system, preferably in the public school system. The Program serves approximately 2 thousand children and adolescents per year throughout the Federal District.
Registration for the program is in person and carried out directly with the Military Groups that have the program. Parents and guardians who wish to enroll children in the Federal District Junior Firefighter program can obtain information on the Fire Department website or by calling (61) 3901-7926.
