This is the first time in four years that the French striker has appeared in the franchise. Today, Mbappé plays for Real Madrid and in the 2026 World Cup, he became the highest scorer in the history of the tournament, reaching 22 goals, surpassing Lionel Messi's record.
"Being on the cover of an 'EA Sports FC' title for the first time is a very special moment for me," said the player in a statement released by Electronic Arts. "It's an honor to continue my long-standing relationship with the franchise in this new chapter."
Electronic Arts also announced that it will release the first trailer for "EA Sports FC 27" this Thursday (23). The company has not yet announced the game's release date.
