According to Downdetector, a platform that monitors failures in online services, the operator showed a significant increase in the number of complaints throughout the day. Among the reports published by users, the main complaint was the absence or instability of the mobile data signal on the 5G network. Residents of different cities in the state of São Paulo stated that they were left without internet or faced difficulties using applications and online services. A user from Salto (SP) reported that he had been without Vivo's 5G connection since the morning. "Last night it was working, I woke up without it! I've restarted the phone and nothing!", he wrote. Another customer, from the ABC Paulista region, stated that the internet had constant failures. "Vivo still has a lack of internet. But I accidentally discovered that during a call the internet works again. It's not a solution, but if you need it urgently, leave a phone connected to use the internet", he commented. Residents of different cities in the state of São Paulo stated that they were left without internet. Downdetector In Guarulhos (SP), a user claimed to have been without a mobile network since 7:30 am. According to him, even after restarting the device, the problem continued. Despite the reports, some customers of the same operator reported not having faced connection problems. Downdetector did not register, until the last update of this report, a similar volume of complaints involving other large telephone operators. g1 contacted Vivo and the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) to find out what caused the instability, which regions were affected and whether there was a forecast for normalization of the service, but did not receive a response until the last update of this report.
