Ambulance Fire Department Disclosure/Fire Department A 30-year-old man died after falling about three meters high while working on dismantling a metal structure used at an event. The fall occurred at the Maria Zeli Diniz Fonseca State School, in Nova Serrana, on Sunday (20). According to Fire Department records, the victim was found lying next to the metal structure. According to witnesses, the boy was dismantling the structure when he fell and hit his head on the ground.

During the initial assessment, firefighters found an injury to the back of the skull, compatible with traumatic brain injury (TBI). According to the record, the man had a reduced level of consciousness, responded only to painful stimuli and had pupils that did not react to light, which indicates serious neurological damage. The man was taken to the Red Room at Hospital São José, but he succumbed to his injuries and died upon entering the unit. It should be noted that the service was contracted on a regular basis, with strict compliance with the required administrative procedures and with all the provider's documentation in compliance with current legislation.
