The incident was carried out by criminal police officers during a visitor search on Sunday (5) and confirmed by the State Department of Justice and Public Security (Sejusp) this Wednesday (8). ? In total, the following were seized from the visitors: 550 grams of tobacco; 25 cell phones; 22 handmade chargers; 6 cell phone sources; 1 power bank; 1 cell phone screen; 12 lighters; 8 USB cables; 8 headphones; 2 bottles of alcoholic beverage; 1 package with marijuana and hashish. During the incident, the criminal police also searched a vegetation area close to the prison unit, where they located another 14 cell phones, 21 homemade chargers, 30 USB cables and five lighters. The two women and all the seized material were sent to the Civil Police Station, which will be responsible for the investigation. Also according to Sejusp, the penitentiary management initiated an internal procedure to investigate the incident.
