Severino Alves Pereira, 56 years old, confessed to the crime and was arrested in the act. The case occurred on Monday night (13), in the city center. According to witnesses, the victim was attacked with a knife to the stomach and neck on Rua Tibiriça, after leaving work at the Brisamar shopping mall. In search of help, the woman crawled a few meters and stopped in front of the building where she lived, on Rua Frei Gaspar. According to the Fire Department, rescue teams were called, but the death was confirmed at the scene by the doctor from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu).
