She began her career as a nursing technician at Santa Casa and, after passing a public exam, she started working at Hospital João Penido, where she had worked for many years, mainly in the pediatrics sector. She also made savory cakes for parties as a way to supplement her income. “We fought with her because she worked so much,” said her brother. According to Charles, Cristiane attended the births of practically all of the family's nephews and cousins, while facing a long journey to be able to have a child. She lost a daughter and went through several attempts until the birth of her son Caleb, who is now 10 years old. "She participated in the births of all her nephews and cousins, but she was unable to have her own child. After many years, Caleb came to consecrate this blessing in her life." On the day of the accident, Cristiane was still rescued alive, but died after being admitted to the Emergency Hospital.
