Access the g1 RS channel on WhatsApp According to the forecast, Serra, Alto Uruguai and Planalto are among the regions with the greatest potential for more significant rainfall. In isolated points, rainfall volumes can approach 50 millimeters throughout the period. Throughout the afternoon, the expectation is for a gradual reduction in instabilities as the system advances towards Santa Catarina and Paraná. Even so, the Porto Alegre Metropolitan Region is expected to experience periods of rain. There is no indication of severe events for the area. In the southern half and in the Campanha, precipitation tends to occur weakly and sporadically. In the west of Rio Grande do Sul, mainly in municipalities in the Uruguaiana region, the arrival of colder and drier air favors the reduction of clouds and even the occurrence of sunlight. Temperatures remain lower than those recorded in recent days, and the feeling of cold is expected to predominate in much of the state.
