Joelma Klaudia, creator of the Festival Canção da Transmazônica (Fecant), in Altamira Disclosure Registration is open for the XII Festival Canção da Transamazônica (Fecant), one of the main music festivals in Pará. With free participation, composers from all over Brazil can register until August 10th via the website fecant.com.br. The festival will be held on the 24th, 25th and 26th of September, at Concha Acústica Silvino Pantoja, in Altamira, in the southwest of the state. Recognized among the 10 best Portuguese-speaking and Hispanic festivals and declared cultural and intangible heritage of Pará, Fecant will distribute R$55,500 in prizes in the Kids, Regional and National categories. In total, 12 songs will be selected for each competitive stage. The main novelty of this edition is the anticipation of the calendar. "We arrived at the 12th edition of Fecant with great joy and dedication to support and disseminate artists and original music from the Xingu and Pará regions. The festival was brought forward and, this year, will take place in September", highlights the creator and organizer of the event, singer and composer Joelma Klaudia. Before the main program, the festival promotes Fecant Circula Altamira, with free shows by artists from the rap scene in city squares on the 17th, 18th, 25th and 26th of July. The program brings together local names and guests from Belém, such as Bruna BG and Pelé do Manifesto, taking the music to different public spaces and anticipating the festival's atmosphere.
