Fugitive from Justice tries to escape by jumping over house walls, but is arrested in Timon The Civil Police of Maranhão (PC-MA) arrested three men who were on the run from Justice last Sunday (12), in Timon. They were wanted for crimes of domestic violence, failure to comply with a protective order and theft. The arrests took place in different neighborhoods of the city during intelligence actions and compliance with court warrants. One of the suspects tried to escape by jumping over the walls of some houses, but was captured (see the moment of the escape attempt in the video above). The operation was carried out by the 18th Timon Regional Police Station and the Intelligence and Capture Division (Dicap). Three fugitives for domestic violence, failure to comply with protective measures and robbery are arrested in Timon Reproduction/Maranhão Civil Police The first arrest took place in Vila João Reis. A 19-year-old man, investigated for domestic violence, was captured by police officers. He is also suspected of participating in motorcycle robberies using firearms in Timon. During the approach, the suspect tried to flee. He jumped several walls and entered a residence. However, he was located and arrested with the help of images recorded by a drone used in the operation. The second arrest was made in the Cidade Nova neighborhood. A 56-year-old man was arrested for violating a protective order. According to the Civil Police, he had already been arrested three other times for the crimes of threat, bodily harm, damage and insult. All cases occurred in situations of domestic violence against the ex-partner. The third arrest also occurred in the Cidade Nova neighborhood. A 24-year-old man was arrested after being definitively convicted of the crime of aggravated robbery. The crime took place in 2016. At the time, the man stole a victim's cell phone using a serious threat, in the Cidade Nova neighborhood. After procedures at the Timon Regional Police Station, the three men were sent to the prison system. They will remain at the disposal of the Court.
