According to the police, during the previous incident, the suspects reported that another truck was also escorting the cargo. Based on this information, the PRF called the Federal Police (PF), the Military Police (PM) and the Civil Police (PC) to assist in the search for the vehicle. The truck was located and approached on Tuesday afternoon. The driver informed the police that he had left Brasília (DF) to visit the Northeast, but, according to the PRF, he presented contradictory versions about the acquisition of the vehicle and claimed to have stayed in Serrita, also in the Sertão of Pernambuco. During the inspection, the agents found the same communication system installed in the other vehicles involved in the incident in the truck, which, according to the PRF, would be used by the group to communicate during the journey. The suspect was taken to the Federal Police Station in Salgueiro. According to the PRF, he could be held responsible for drug trafficking in the form of a person contest.
