Trophies of the Floripa Faz Bem Award 2026 John Pacheco/g1 This Tuesday night (4) was the time to discover the winners of the 2026 edition of the Floripa Faz Bem Award, an NSC TV initiative that recognizes people and projects that make a difference in the capital. The ceremony was at the Hotel Intercity Portofino, in Florianópolis. The winners were decided by the public, who chose Santa Catarina through g1 and got to know the finalists through reports in Jornal do Almoço. The vote had a total of 623,267 votes. There were six categories in total, with three finalists each: Culture, Education, Sustainability, Antoinettes, Sports and Manezinho of the Year. Check out the winners in each category: Culture - Dona Mocotinha - 47.73% of the votes. Early childhood education teacher Danielle Horn created the character Dona Mocotinha, to teach children, through theater, about the history of Santa Catarina Island. Education - Daisy Américo - 62.71% of the votes. The visual artist visits schools in Greater Florianópolis and takes art exhibitions to children. Antoinettes - Daiana Barcelos - 75.29% of the votes. Sport - Jéssica Aparecida Luciano - 61.93% of the votes. Three-time Brazilian capoeira champion works on a voluntary project to teach the sport to children from Ribeirão da Ilha. Sustainability - Instituto Ecopet - 51.46% of the votes. Project collects bottle caps for recycling and helps pay for the neutering of dogs and cats. Manezinho of the year - Zenaide Maria de Souza - 53.23% of the votes. At 81 years old, Ms. Zenaide owns a beachfront restaurant in Pântano do Sul and cooks the traditional dish mullet in beans.
