Thief shoots dog and steals watch in Ribeirão Preto, SP Reproduction/Security camera A woman walking her dog was robbed on Monday night (20) and the animal was even shot when trying to defend its owner. The case happened around 9:20 pm, in Ribeirão Preto (SP), and was caught on security cameras. In the images, it is possible to see the moment when the woman was carrying the dog on a leash and walking along the sidewalk between Cáceres and Maroim streets, in the Ipiranga neighborhood, when a motorcycle with two men approached and one of them got out, already announcing the robbery. He demanded the woman's watch while the other, who was driving the vehicle, went to the corner and waited for the action to end. The woman called the Military Police, but did not file a police report because she took the dog to the veterinarian. The shot hit the animal in the mouth and, according to the family, EPTV, a TV Globo affiliate, said its health condition is stable.
