According to the Civil Police, the case is being investigated as rape of a vulnerable person. The abuse would have occurred in 2023, when the victim was 11 years old. Based on the information gathered during the investigation, the Court issued a provisional arrest warrant against the teenager, which was carried out this Monday (20), approximately six months after the investigation began. As they are under 18, the teenager follows the procedures set out in the Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA). After the seizure, he underwent legal procedures and expert examinations. He was then sent to the Civil Police City prison, in Campina Grande, where he remains at the disposal of the Judiciary, awaiting a place in a unit of the socio-educational internment system.
