Facade Court of Auditors of Rondônia (TCE-RO) TCE-RO/Disclosure The Court of Auditors of the State of Rondônia (TCE-RO) investigates suspected fraud in the supply of official vehicles of the City Hall of Governador Jorge Teixeira (RO). According to the agency, the alleged embezzlement of public money could reach R$1.5 million. The irregularities were identified after analyzing data from the Transparency Portal. According to the court's technical report, there is evidence of misappropriation of resources with supply records considered physically impossible. Among the suspects are vehicles with zero or negative mileage and even records that indicate billions of kilometers traveled. The report also points out supplies with a volume of fuel well above the capacity of car tanks. See the trending videos on g1:

Another sign of fraud involves the use of the fleet during the early hours of the morning. According to the TCE-RO, several vehicles were refueled in sequence, just a few minutes apart and outside working hours. The system also identified the same vehicle filled with fuel, on the same day, in different cities, without enough time to travel. According to the case's rapporteur, counselor José Euler Potyguara, the amount spent on fuel is high for the municipality's budget and, therefore, the case requires a detailed investigation. The mayor of Governador Jorge Teixeira, Gilmar Tomaz de Souza, was summoned by the TCE-RO to explain how the fleet is controlled. The Public Ministry of Accounts is monitoring the investigation. g1 contacted the Governor Jorge Teixeira City Hall and the mayor's defense, but did not receive a response until the last update of this report.
