Despite the increase in stored volume compared to last year, the accumulated rainfall in July remained well below the historical average, repeating the scenario recorded in 2025.
Reservoirs of the Alto Tietê System Among the reservoirs that make up the system, the largest volume was recorded in Jundiaí, with 76.4% of capacity, followed by Paraitinga, with 61.9%. Taiaçupeba ended the month with 48.8%, Ponte Nova with 40.3% and Biritiba with 28.1%. SPAT Dams In relation to the accumulated rainfall in the month, Biritiba, Jundiaí and Taiaçupeba recorded 0.2 millimeters each. Paraitinga and Ponte Nova ended July without accumulated rain.
