Six people are arrested on suspicion of trafficking, criminal association and threats against indigenous people on the North Coast of Paraíba Reproduction/Civil Police Six people were arrested this Thursday morning (16) on suspicion of being part of a criminal group investigated for drug trafficking, criminal association and threats against indigenous communities, during a Civil Police operation carried out in Rio Tinto, on the North Coast of Paraíba. ?Click here to follow the g1 PB channel on WhatsApp According to the Civil Police, those under investigation are also suspected of involvement in homicides in the region. Investigations indicate that the group used indigenous areas to sell drugs and intimidate residents. The arrests occurred during the execution of arrest and search and seizure warrants issued by the Court, based on investigations by the Civil Police. In total, 10 teams participated in the operation. The six suspects were taken to the Mamanguape Police Center, where they remain at the disposal of the Justice Department. The operation is part of investigations into the activities of criminal factions in Rio Tinto. According to the Civil Police, the investigation remains open to identify other possible parties involved and further investigate the crimes being investigated.
