Gabriel says that he started participating in creative workshops run by a local production company when he was a teenager, which brought him even closer to the topic. When he entered the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) to study Cinema, the director already knew how to work in the area. The work was produced with equipment from the college. The story, which follows boxer Jorge in his first official fight, was produced using cameras loaned by the college itself. After receiving the loan, Gabriel had the help of a completely volunteer team, made up of university colleagues who helped him during the realization of the project recorded in Chácara, a city close to Juiz de Fora (MG). "We carried out collective financing. From that, we were able to finance the team's transportation and food", he recalls.
