Sesc mobile unit offers more than 530 free exams in the North Zone of Natal Disclosure / Sesc RN The Social Service of Commerce of Rio Grande do Norte (Sesc RN) will offer more than 530 free breast and cervical cancer prevention exams in the North Zone of Natal. The services will be carried out between the 21st and 31st of July, at the Sesc Saúde Mulher Mobile Unit, located at Sesc Zona Norte. In total, 244 mammograms and 288 preventive exams (Pap smears) will be made available. Appointments are already being made at the unit. ? Women between 40 and 49 years old can also take the exam, as long as they present a medical request, as per guidance from the Ministry of Health. In addition to the exams, the mobile unit team will promote health education actions, with the expectation of serving around 400 people during the period. Opened in 2012, the Sesc Saúde Mulher Mobile Unit has already covered 45 municipalities in Rio Grande do Norte. Since then, it has carried out more than 103,000 free exams and benefited more than 242,000 people with educational activities aimed at the prevention and early diagnosis of breast and cervical cancer.
