The maintenance could cause water shortages in up to 70% of the city by Wednesday (22), when the supply should begin to return to normal. The intervention, which was scheduled for Tuesday (21), was brought forward by the company's operational decision. This afternoon, teams were already working on changing the valves at the Raw Water Pumping Station (EEAB), in the West Zone. According to the company, at around 6pm, water collection was already interrupted to allow the service to be carried out. As a result, the supply will be affected in practically the entire city. ? The regions of Putim and Vila Tatetuba should be less impacted, as they have wells that help supplement the supply. According to São José dos Campos City Hall, the intervention could affect approximately 190 thousand connections. Hospitals and health units will have guaranteed supply through water trucks during the execution of services.
