The last collection took place on July 13th. According to the document, São Luís has the largest number of unsuitable stretches, with six unsuitable spots on the beaches of São Marcos and Olho d’Água. In São José de Ribamar, two points on Praia do Araçagi were classified as unsuitable: in front of the main access ramp to the beach and in front of Bar da Atalaia. In Paço do Lumiar, the inappropriate section is at Praia Olho de Porco, in front of the Las Vegas Bar and Restaurant.

In Raposa, one of the two points analyzed was considered unsuitable for bathing. The stretch is at Praia Olho de Porco, in the last tent before the mouth of the Mangue Seco stream. Sema also warns that rain can affect water quality, due to the transport of organic matter from public roads to rivers and beaches. Therefore, the recommendation is to avoid swimming in the sea within 24 hours of rain.
