According to the Civil Police, the man told the victims that the acts were part of a “healing process”. His name was not released. The women went to the municipal police station to report the case. In testimony, they reported that they were in the process of separating from their respective partners. According to reports, the religious leader took advantage of this weakness to commit abuse. The case is investigated by the Civil Police as sexual violation through fraud and rape.
