Former prosecutor João Paulo Furlan MP/disclosure The National Council of the Public Ministry (CNMP) unanimously decided, this Thursday (6), to dismiss prosecutor João Paulo Furlan from the staff of the Public Ministry of Amapá (MP-AP). The measure was taken after the conclusion of an Administrative Disciplinary Process (PAD), initiated to investigate infractions committed by the server. Furlan had already been removed from office since the beginning of the year, when he began to be investigated on suspicion of involvement in an electoral corruption scheme. He is the brother of the former mayor of Macapá, Dr. Furlan, and was accused of participating in vote buying through the distribution of basic food baskets, fuel and irregular transportation of voters.
