Promises from Fábio Mitidieri: governor of Sergipe created a program for surgeries, but did not set a salary floor for the police

See below the promises separated by themes: Health Public safety Education and Culture Sport Economy Infrastructure Tourism Human and Social Rights Housing Expand programs aimed at the health of the elderly Actions aimed at the health and well-being of the elderly in Sergipe were expanded through new physical, artistic, cultural and entrepreneurship activities. Among the initiatives investigated by g1 that are developed by the government are the Elderly Support Program (PAI) — which offers dances, sports practices, capoeira, yoga and dancing afternoons — and the Better Age Program, focused on expanding welcoming workshops and sociocultural interaction, such as recitals, choir, dance and collective therapy. In addition to investing in preventive actions, training is also carried out for health professionals focused on treatment and specialized care for elderly people. Create public equine therapy centers Two new centers were created in the cities of Itabaiana and Tobias Barreto in partnership with the Environmental Police, according to the State Secretariat for Social Assistance, Inclusion and Citizenship (Seasic). By March 2026, more than 37 thousand elective surgeries had already been performed, according to g1. Among the surgeries offered are endometriosis, bariatric surgery, hysterectomy, hernioplasty, reconstructive mammoplasty and kidney stone removal. Build the Greater Aracaju Regional Hospital The hospital was not built in the metropolitan region of Aracaju, according to g1. The government informed that it chose to carry out works on specialized units, such as the Sergipe Cancer Hospital and the new Nossa Senhora de Lourdes Mother and Child Complex. What the government says: According to the government, among the investments made in the regionalization of health are the completion of the Cancer Hospital, the contribution to the new unit in Nossa Senhora do Socorro and the implementation of an ICU in the sertão of Sergipe. Implement a telemedicine consultation system in all municipalities The system was implemented in 67 of the 75 municipalities in Sergipe and is not yet found in all basic health units, according to g1.
