The workshops will last three months and will include dialogues, dynamics and creative exercises. Five professional photographers will lead the activities. “The idea is that each young person develops not only technical skills, but also a more sensitive and critical look at the reality that surrounds them”, says Alex Costa, one of the project coordinators. The works can address themes such as family, climate, art, memory or territory. Participants will share digital cameras during the training process. They will also be able to use mentors' equipment or their own cell phones. At the end of the training, each young person will have a photo chosen for the collective exhibition at the Museu Cidade de Manaus. The selection will be made jointly by participants, mentors and coordination.
