Born and raised in Rio Branco, Ana left Acre after completing high school to study medicine in another state. Currently, she lives in Araras, in the interior of São Paulo. The student also said that during a conversation with a professor who works in the Unified Health System (SUS), she reported her desire to contribute to the population of Acre. "I've always really wanted to volunteer and I really wanted to be able to help here. I had no idea that I would be able to help so soon and in such a cool way", he reported. From the conversation, the Acre native began to structure the project with a friend and other students, as well as guidance from a teacher.
