Drugs seized in Silva Jardim Federal Highway Police The Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized around 20 kilos of marijuana this Thursday afternoon (16), during an inspection on BR-101, in Silva Jardim, in the Lagos Region. Three people were arrested red handed, two men and one woman. According to the PRF, the agents were carrying out a routine inspection when they approached a car to check the vehicle's mandatory equipment. During the approach, the police asked the occupants to disembark and present their documentation. When they opened the trunk, they found several packages containing marijuana, as well as portions of "Dry" type hashish, known for its high concentration of THC. ? Also according to the PRF, the driver informed that he had left the city of Rio de Janeiro and that he would deliver the drugs to a third person in Araruama. He stated, however, that he did not know the identity of the recipient. The three occupants of the vehicle were arrested red-handed. The incident was forwarded to the 120th Police Station (120th DP), in Silva Jardim.
