Police locate suspects of shooting dead man member of faction in Santana, Amapá A 17-year-old teenager was apprehended and a 21-year-old man arrested by the Civil Police of Santana, suspected of involvement in the murder of Ricardo da Silva, aged 25, which occurred on the afternoon of this Tuesday (4), in the Provedor I neighborhood. According to delegate Anderson Ramos, head of the 1st Civil Police Station of Santana, the minor is identified as the author of the shooting, while the adult would have provided the weapon used in the execution. According to the investigation, the teenager received a .40 caliber pistol from the arrested man, carried out the murder and, after the crime, returned the weapon so it could be hidden. The weapon was located and seized during the investigation. The crime was solved in around two hours with the support of technological investigation. According to the Civil Police, the teenager confessed to committing the crime and the man admitted to having handed over the pistol. Investigations indicate that the homicide may have been motivated by an old threat involving members of criminal organizations. The victim is also identified by the police as a member of a faction and had several criminal records.
