Visitation takes place daily, from 5pm to 10pm. The exhibition brings together photographs that portray the richness of Maranhão's June festivities, especially Bumba Meu Boi, under the photographer's eyes. The curatorship is signed by Walquíria Moraes and the exhibition has accessibility resources, such as information in Libras and audio description. The images record details of the embroidery, the emotion of the players, the energy of the processions, the faith present in the celebrations and the joy that marks São João do Maranhão. The proposal is to highlight the importance of the party as cultural heritage and expression of Maranhão identity. When visiting the exhibition, the public is invited to revisit fond memories of the festivals and get to know up close the characters and traditions that keep one of the country's main cultural manifestations alive.
