In the sentence, the judge stated that the materiality and authorship of the feminicide were proven by a criminal decision that became final and unappealable in November 2025. The defendant, whose name was not disclosed, was sentenced to 41 years and two months in prison and is in prison. The judge also pointed out that the INSS request is supported by article 120, item II, of Law No. 8,213/91, which imposes the duty of compensation to anyone who gives rise to social security benefits due to domestic and family violence against women. "Femicide, classified in art. 121, § 2, VI, of the Penal Code, represents the most extreme form of gender violence.
