"My brother was going to need a kidney transplant and I was a strong candidate. But the doctor said that I would have to be 100% in good health and in the oral part as well. My father financed me and I started there", he says. The service package cost R$13,589 thousand and, according to Juliana, included a root canal, six implants and orthodontic braces for her son, a teenager. She informed that they created the channel, which allowed her to complete the kidney donation to her brother. But he stated that the rest were stopped after the fixation of four pins, preventing the completion of the implants, and that he has been trying to receive assistance for three months, but the clinic cancels the appointments. She also stated that her son's mouth is hurt due to the lack of maintenance on the orthodontic device. According to Juliana, clinic employees went to the family's residence, in the Vila Sônia neighborhood, to collect the father's facial biometrics and obtain financing through a financing partner of the clinic. Currently unemployed and with a family income of one minimum wage, Juliana reported that the monthly installment of R$567 compromises a third of the household's monthly earnings and that she needs to complete her dental services.
