After the conventions, parties and federations will be able to request registration of candidacies with the Electoral Court. July 30 (Thursday): Federation formed by PT, PCdoB, PV, PSOL, Rede, PSB and Podemos, at 5pm, at Parque das Acácias, in Rio Branco, which must confirm Thor Dantas (PSB) as candidate for state government and Jorge Viana (PT) for the Senate. July 31st (Friday): PSDB/Citizenship Federation, at 5pm, at Ginásio do Sesi, in Rio Branco, to make Tião Bocalom (PSDB) official as a candidate for government. August 1 (Saturday): Brazilian Communist Party (PCB) to make Eudo Raffael (PCB) official as a candidate for government. The location and time have not yet been announced. Rules for conventions The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) establishes a series of rules for holding party conventions. Among them is the obligation to prepare minutes with the names of the chosen candidates and the positions they will compete for. The document must be sent to the Electoral Court by the day after the meeting and published in the TSE system. The attendance list of participants is also mandatory, which must be made available in the DivulgaCandContas system. Furthermore, parties must have their governing bodies regularly constituted and registered with the Electoral Court on the date of the convention. Conventions can take place free of charge in public buildings, as long as the person responsible for the space is notified at least one week in advance and that the party is responsible for any damage caused to the venue.
