In total, Tocantins has 1,182,307 voters eligible to vote, a number that represents an increase of almost 1% compared to the last election, according to the Electoral Court. Tocantins electorate in numbers ? Of the total number of registered voters in the state, 86% are in the mandatory voting range. Women remain the majority and total 601,991 voters, equivalent to 50.92% of the electorate. Men represent 49.08%, with 580,316 voters. Another highlight is the advancement of biometrics. According to the Electoral Court, 95.83% of voters in Tocantins have biometric registration, a rate higher than the national average, which is 89%. The data shows that the age group from 25 to 29 years old is the largest in the Tocantins electorate, with 121,903 people eligible to vote. Next come the groups aged 40 to 44, with 121,124 voters; 30 to 34 years old, with 119,017; and 35 to 39 years old, with 116,186. Among voters with optional voting, Tocantins has 23,568 teenagers aged 16 and 17 and 103,993 elderly people over 70 years old. Racial self-declaration According to data from the Electoral Court, around 30% of the electorate responded to racial self-declaration during voter registration. Among the respondents, 229,205 people declared themselves mixed race, 62,778 white, 52,461 black, 5,739 indigenous and 2,648 yellow. In this same group, 4,827 voters reported being quilombolas. With the consolidation of the electorate numbers, the Electoral Court reported that it continues with planning and preparations for the 2026 General Elections throughout the state.
