Owl Mocho Diabo is returned to the wild after being rescued in Volta Redonda Disclosure/Prefecture of Volta Redonda An owl, of the Mocho Diabo species, was returned to the wild on Thursday (9) after being rescued in Volta Redonda (RJ). The bird was found tangled up in a kite line on Monday (6). According to city hall, the animal was found with the line stuck in its neck, wings and paws but without any injuries. The owl was taken to the Municipal Guard headquarters. The agents then contacted the team at the city's Zoological Park, who looked for the animal. Still according to the municipal administration, the bird received the necessary medical-veterinary care and remained under observation until Thursday, when it was released into a municipal conservation unit in the city.
