Official Launch of the 5th Florescer Race presents the edition's ambassadors

The Commercial and Industrial Association of Limeira (ACIL) held, this Thursday (30), the official launch of the 5th Florescer Race, during a press conference at its headquarters. The meeting brought together municipal authorities, sponsors, partners, press and guests to present the news of this year's edition, which takes place on August 30th, at Horto Florestal de Limeira. Promoted by the ACIL Women's Entrepreneurial Council (CME), the event reaches its fifth edition, consolidated as one of the city's main sporting and solidarity initiatives, encouraging the practice of physical activity, quality of life and community unity around an important social cause. This year, part of the income raised from registrations will be donated to the Association of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional (APAE Limeira), strengthening the institution's work in serving and including people with intellectual and multiple disabilities. During the press conference, those present watched the 2025 aftermovie and a special video that reviewed the event's trajectory over the last five years, highlighting notable moments and the growth achieved since the first edition. The ceremony was attended by the municipal secretary of Sport and Leisure, Dimas Peruzza, and the president of APAE Limeira, Fulvio Estevam Malaman Drago, who highlighted the importance of the partnership between public authorities, the private sector and entities to strengthen actions that combine sport, inclusion and social responsibility. Another highlight of the press conference was the official announcement of the ambassadors for the 2026 edition, who will have the mission of encouraging the population's participation and publicizing the importance of sports as a tool for transformation. Those chosen to represent this year are: André Lossolli, 57-year-old accountant and runner for a decade. Among his achievements is participating in the 3 Fronteiras Half Marathon, between Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina, contested just three months after being discharged from hospital, in 2025, a feat marked by overcoming and determination. Elaine Francisco Sebastião, Laine, from +KM, 43-year-old manicurist and runner since 2019. Her trajectory is marked by the transformation brought about by sport, with the loss of 30 kilos and the realization of her dream of completing a half marathon. Dr. Tatiane Marcelino, 40-year-old doctor and marathon runner since 2018, whose main achievement is completing a marathon, becoming an example of discipline, dedication and encouraging quality of life. The program includes a 5-kilometer run, a 3-kilometer walk and a kids' course, allowing the participation of experienced athletes, beginners and entire families. All registrants receive an athlete kit with a t-shirt and medal, as well as a special breakfast at the end of the route.
