The two procedures can be carried out at the same time. Anyone who does not regularize the situation may have their salary or pension suspended. However, payment is guaranteed if the delay occurs due to failures in government systems, health problems or other serious situations beyond the military's control. According to the new law, the government must offer in-person and online options for care, with adequate support for the elderly, people with disabilities, hospitalized patients or those with mobility difficulties. The Rondônia Military Police (PMRO) and the Rondônia Military Fire Department (CBMRO) are authorized to use their own systems for these updates, as long as they guarantee data security. The law also changes the rules for retirement. The soldier may request transfer to the reserves after 20 years of service, receiving an amount proportional to the time worked. Approval, however, will depend on vacancies: there will only be one opportunity per year for each rank or position. If there is more than one person interested in the same vacancy, priority will be given to the person with the longest experience. In case of a tie, the oldest in the role wins. The release of the soldier will also depend on the approval of the command, so as not to harm the functioning of the corporation.
