Reproduction / Agência Belém The Public Ministry of Pará proposed a Conduct Adjustment Term (TAC) to the City of Belém and the State Government for the integration of the BRT Belém and BRT Metropolitano systems. The proposal was presented by prosecutor Marco Aurélio Nascimento, through the 5th Public Prosecutor's Office for Collective Guardianship of the Environment and Urbanism of the Metropolitan Region of Belém, within the scope of the administrative procedure that accompanies the implementation of the two systems and the capital's public transport. Under the TAC, the implementation and management of the BRT Belém system would be transferred to the state government, through the Metropolitan Transport Management Center (NGTM), unifying the administration of the two systems. The proposal is the result of monitoring carried out by the Public Ministry in recent years and technical inspections promoted by the Public Prosecutor's Office, with support from the Interdisciplinary Technical Support Group (GATI). ? Follow the g1 Pará channel on WhatsApp During the inspections, significant differences were identified between the operation of the municipal and metropolitan systems, in addition to the lack of full integration between the two. According to GATI's technical report, the coexistence of different administrative structures compromises transport efficiency, which can cause duplication of costs, planning difficulties, conflicts between lines and losses to users, especially in tariff integration. The inspections also found structural problems at BRT Belém stations, low use of the Mangueirão Terminal and lack of complete integration with the metropolitan system. The BRT Metropolitano operated regularly, with greater passenger flow and better infrastructure conditions. It will be up to public entities to analyze the TAC clauses and express agreement for its formalization. The MPPA continues to monitor the negotiations. g1 on JL2: find out how to request a half student ticket on the BRT Metropolitano de Belém VIDEOS with the main news from Pará Access other state news on g1 Pará.
